Company News June-July
Everyone at R & B Industrial would like to thank you to say Test Valley Borough Council for supporting our business and progression of employees by funding some recent training courses. These courses will not only benefit just ourselves but customers who are looking for a company who can help in all aspects of project management.
One of our Senior Projects Engineers, Julian, recently passed an industry specific P604 course in Leicester in June. This course is particularly suited to LEV topic specialists, Health and Safety or Occupational Hygiene professionals, Managers, Supervisors and Building and Services engineers. The course provides the advanced theoretical and practical knowledge of LEV to prove competence for TExT and System Design.
Raja, Grzes and Morgan recently completed a P602 course in Leicestershire which equips delegates with the basic skills to be able to specify LEV systems, including calculating an appropriate benchmark for correct hood selection, using Fletcher’s Nomogram/Equations for captor hood design, calculating system pressure losses and specifying an appropriate fan.
We really do appreciate all the help and support TVBC has given our company over the last few years.
Test Valley Borough Council has secured £0.5m to improve skills in Andover as part of the planning agreement for Andover Business Park. The Council is using this sum to encourage Andover businesses employing up to 100 persons to offer skills training to Andover residents.
Due to continued expansion and growth R & B industrial have taken on a new an Electrical Electronics engineer and a new Electrical design engineer. We welcome you both aboard and look forward to a long-lasting relationship with you both.
